Mark Mobius is a renowned emerging markets investor and the Founding Partner of Mobius Capital Partners, an emerging and frontier markets asset manager. Mobius is one of the most reputed investors in the industry and known for over 40 years of working and traveling through emerging and frontier markets. During this time, he has been in charge of actively managed funds totalling over $50 billion in assets. Previously, he was the Executive Chairman at Franklin Templeton Investments, where he launched one of the world's first funds dedicated to growth economies in 1987, and grew the Templeton Emerging Markets Group's investments in the sector from $100 million to $40 billion during his tenure. He has also been a key figure in developing the international policy for emerging markets and was selected to serve on the World Bank’s Global Corporate Governance Forum as a member of the Private Sector Advisory Group and as co-chairman of its Investor Responsibility Task Force.
