Walter is the Chairman and Controlling Owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
In 2012, he spearheaded Guggenheim Baseball Management’s $2.15 billion acquisition of the Dodgers, forming a high-profile ownership group with Magic Johnson, Peter Guber, and Todd Boehly.
Since taking ownership, he has played a key role in turning the Dodgers into one of the most successful and valuable franchises in baseball, consistently investing in elite talent and maintaining a competitive edge.

Walter and his wife have founded or are major benefactors of several organizations that expand opportunity for young people from under-served communities.
