  • Walter is the Chairman and Controlling Owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

  • In 2012, he spearheaded Guggenheim Baseball Management’s $2.15 billion acquisition of the Dodgers, forming a high-profile ownership group with Magic Johnson, Peter Guber, and Todd Boehly. 

  • Since taking ownership, he has played a key role in turning the Dodgers into one of the most successful and valuable franchises in baseball, consistently investing in elite talent and maintaining a competitive edge.


PHILANTHROPY

  • Walter and his wife have founded or are major benefactors of several organizations that expand opportunity for young people from under-served communities. 

  • Through TWF Conservation, the Walter family works to save imperiled species and natural habitats around the world by protecting wildlife, securing vast wilderness areas, and establishing assurance populations.
