Nick Halaris is an independent investor, serial entrepreneur, real estate developer, and civic leader with almost 20 years of industry experience. He is the President of Metros Capital, a real estate investment firm, where he is responsible for leading all aspects of the investment and development process. He also works closely with the firm's partners to identify opportunities and develop and execute investment strategies. Nick is also the author of the Profit+ Newsletter and the host of The Nick Halaris Show, where he interviews people committed to solving complex problems and highlights the challenges they overcame along the way. Previously, he was the Founder and President of AH Capital, where he successfully helped develop an impressive track record investing in distressed and multifamily assets in the aftermath of the Great Recession.
Nick believes strongly in activist investing and is committed to his system for creating value through leadership.
Since 2010, he has invested more than $125 million in distressed residential and multifamily assets—buying, rehabilitating, and selling foreclosures.
He also purchased a large portfolio of distressed multi-family units throughout the Southeast after the 2008 recession.
