Paul Britton is the Founder and CEO of Capstone Investment Advisors, a global alternative investment management firm that specializes in derivative-based strategies. He focuses on setting the firm’s strategy, developing company culture, attracting key talent and overseeing the execution of investment and business functions. Paul has more than 20 years of experience trading across global options and derivatives markets. He conceptualized the Global Volatility Summit as institutional investors became increasingly focused on exploring the value add of options and volatility strategies to institutional investment portfolios. He was named an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his dedication and notable philanthropic contributions to the Tate Americas Foundation.
Paul formed Capstone to offer investors access to, and exploit the inefficiencies present in, complex derivatives markets.

EARLY CAREER
Paul began his career with Saratoga Limited, trading options on the London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange.
In 1999, he co-founded Mako Global Derivatives, a private trading partnership.
He bought the U.S. operations of the Mako Group to form Capstone in 2004, managing partners’ capital initially as a proprietary trading group.
