Piers Ridyard

Piers Ridyard is the CEO of RDX Works, a core developer of the Radix protocol for the DeFi industry. In his role, Piers leads the company’s mission to transform decentralized finance with secure, scalable solutions. Piers is a successful serial entrepreneur having led several businesses, most notably, Nifty, one of the most overfunded tech startups on Kickstarter that increases available memory in Mac OS computers. He has a demonstrated history of working in the blockchain, cryptocurrency and financial services industry, with expertise in management, business development, finance, venture capital, and private equity. Prior to joining Radix, he founded Surematics, a Y Combinator company which provided decentralized data rooms for insurance companies to coordinate deals and clearances. Earlier in his career, he worked at the J.P. Morgan bond desk. Today, he is also a pledger for Founders Pledge, an initiative enabling philanthropy amongst founders and investors.
