Wei Xie
Wei Xie is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of AI Arena, a breakthrough gaming platform designed to empower the next generation of global AI talent, built on Web3. As COO, he is responsible for all of AI Arena's business operations, including finance, legal, marketing and communications, and overall strategy for the platform. Prior to AI Arena, he was Head of Digital Assets at a large Canadian pension fund, where he focused on novel investment strategies, including digital assets such as crypto and blockchain technology, machine learning-enabled liquid strategies, as well as private and public crossover strategies. He also oversaw portfolio mandates spanning public markets strategies implemented through external funds and internal strategies. Before that, he served in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Greenhill & Co.
