iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF is one of the most popular ETFs in the world, and is one of the oldest funds on the market offering exposure to stock markets of emerging economies. It tracks the performance of the MSCI Emerging Markets Free Index, which measures the equity market performance in the global emerging markets, with the underlying index consisting of large- and mid-capitalization companies from 24 emerging economies.
