The United States Military Academy is a highly selective school for army cadets and the oldest of the five service academies, located. To be considered for admission, candidates must obtain nominations from members of the federal government or those connected to the military. The academy offers nearly 40 majors and has more than 20 research centers. Following graduation, cadets earn a bachelor of science degree and a commission in the U.S. Army as a second lieutenant.
