Founded in 1842 by associates of the Congregation of Holy Cross, University of Notre Dame is on the nation’s top religiously-affiliated schools. Education in this Catholic research university begins with a First Year of Studies program, where students are given personalized advising as they complete liberal arts set of requirements. The university then offers 75 areas of undergraduate studies for students to choose from.
