Mark Yusko
Mark Yusko is the Founder, CEO, and CIO of Morgan Creek Capital Management, and Managing Partner of Morgan Creek Digital. Yusko is a recognized investor and hedge fund manager known for identifying "what's next" in the world of investments. He is a financial services professional with more than three decades of experience building and growing asset management businesses, who has been at the forefront of institutional investing throughout his career. Prior to launching Morgan Creek, he was Founder and CIO of UNC Management Company, the Endowment investment office for the University of North Carolina, where he directly oversaw strategic and tactical asset allocation recommendations of the company. Before that, he was Senior Investment Director for the University of Notre Dame Investment Office, working with the Chief Investment Officer in all aspects of Endowment Management. Today, Yusko is an advisory board member of a number of private capital partnerships and alternative investment programs, and has served as a consultant on alternative investments to a select group of institutions.

During his tenure, Yusko oversaw strategic and tactical allocation recommendations to the investment fund board and investment manager selection.
He was also involved in manager performance evaluation, spending policy management, and performance reporting for the company.
Under his leadership, the total assets under management were $1.5 billion ($1.2 billion in endowment assets and $300 million in working capital).
It was also responsible for providing cash management and planned giving management services, as well as investment management services.
UNCMC also provided outsourced investment management services to select schools within the UNC system.
