Aaron Kaplan
Aaron Kaplan is a securities lawyer and Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Prometheum, an innovative blockchain company engaged in building the first compliant, end-to-end ecosystem for digital asset securities. Under his leadership, Prometheum is building the world’s first SEC and FINRA registered, full-service market for digital asset securities—issuance, trading, clearing, settlement and custody. Aaron also serves as an Of Counsel at Gusrae Kaplan, where his practice is focused on the applications of distributed ledger technology in the securities industry, and the related regulatory issues. Since his admission to the New York State Bar Association, he has been focusing his efforts and has developed an expertise relating to virtual currencies and their regulations. Previously, he was a Co-founder of Deckbound, a blockchain video gaming and digital asset technology company. Since 2016, Aaron has served as the Managing Member of EquityArcade Services, a technology provider focused on online capital formation solutions.

EARLY CAREER
Prior to serving as EquityArcade's Managing Member, Aaron was the company's founder and CEO.
At Deckbound, he led the company in pioneering the use of blockchain tech for gaming, as well as setting precedent for consumer use of a distributed ledger.
Aaron was a Director and Manager at P2W, an innovative, solutions provider catering for the industrial water treatment and mining sectors.
He was a Fixed Income Broker and International Equities Trader at StockCross Financial Services, where he held Series 7, 63, 55, 4, 24, 27 and 53 securities licenses.
