Albert Yeh is a Senior Managing Director of Melkonian Capital Management, a New York-based firm that focuses on investment opportunities in private equity, real estate and public markets. Albert has over 25 years of financial services experience across fixed income, equities and alternative asset classes on both the sell-side and buy-side. Prior to joining Melkonian, he was a Managing Director and Head of Listed Products Asia Pacific with Bank of New York Investment Management. While at BNY, he partnered with U.S. and European leadership to expand the Asia Pacific strategy for launching smart beta and active ETFs into a global approach. Previously, he was based in Hong Kong with BlackRock where he was Managing Director, Head of Product Development and COO for the Asia-Pacific iShares and the Retail businesses with over $1.5B in assets under management.
In addition to serving as Senior Managing Director, Albert is also a member of Melkonian's Investment Committee.
Prior to joining BlackRock, Albert was at Bank of America Merrill Lynch for 12 years where he was Managing Director overseeing 2,500+ employees.
While at Bank of America, he held the positions of COO for Asia-Pacific Equities and Asia-Pacific Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities.
Earlier in his career, Albert held roles at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and JPMorgan Securities.
At PwC, he managed the introduction of the Euro on all fixed income, interest rate and derivative products for an international investment bank.
At JP Morgan, he provided primary sales coverage of emerging market fixed income for 25 countries in Latin America, Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa.
He earned his BS in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering and Masters of Engineering in Operations Research from Cornell University.
