Amy Hong is Managing Director and Head of Market Structure Strategy for the Global Markets Division at Goldman Sachs. She is responsible for cross-asset strategic business development efforts and her areas of focus include market infrastructures, systemic and operational risks and digitization. Since joining Goldman Sachs in 2006, she has been a pioneer in utilizing technology and automation to better serve clients’ liquidity needs. She also led the firm’s efforts to develop new product offerings on Tradeweb, which went public in 2019. Prior to joining Goldman, she was an Associate for UBS.

Hong joined Goldman Sachs in 2006 as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division. She was named Managing Director in 2017.
Previously, she was on the Municipal Bond Trading desk and worked on public sector and infrastructure financings in the Investment Banking Division.
She serves on the Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC Fixed Income Best Execution Subcommittee and was previously co-head of the Securities Division Women’s Network.
As Managing Director, she drives market structure outcomes through deep relationships with strategic partners across clients, market infrastructures and other market participants.
