Angelo Manioudakis is the Global Chief Investment Officer for Northern Trust Asset Management, a leading global investment manager. He oversees the equity, fixed income, asset allocation and alternative investment teams globally, with a focus on delivering investment strategies that compensate investors for the risks taken in all market environments. Manioudakis has over 32 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Northern Trust in 2021, he held leadership roles at multiple global investment firms during more than three decades in the investment industry. He served as Chief Investment Officer for Fidelity Investments’ Global Asset Allocation Division, where he oversaw improvements in investment performance and asset growth across approximately $500 billion in assets.
Manioudakis oversees the firm's investment performance, process and philosophy for $1.2 trillion in assets.
He is a member of the Asset Management Executive Group and chairs the Investment Policy Committee, which guides strategic and tactical asset allocation for Northern Trust portfolios.
He replaced Bob Browne who served as Northern Trust’s CIO for 12 years before retiring in June 2021.

EARLY CAREER
He started his career as a Financial Analyst at GE Capital. He later served as a Portfolio Manager at Morgan Stanley.
He was CIO of Institutional Fixed Income at Oppenheimerfunds and led investment teams for public fixed income and derivatives at Sun Life Financial.
During his tenure at Fidelity Investments, the firm has earned significant growth for the outsourced CIO business.
More recently, he co-founded Lantern Harbor Investment Partners, a Boston-based alternatives investment firm.
