Avi Felman
Avi Felman is Head of Digital Assets Trading at GoldenTree Asset Management, a global asset management firm specializing in opportunities across the credit universe. He also serves as the General Partner of GoldenChain, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GoldenTree managing digital assets. Felman is passionate about all things crypto and blockchain, one of the longest-tenured traders in digital assets and has held several prominent positions. Prior to GoldenTree, he was a Co-Portfolio Manager and Head of Trading for BlockTower Capital where he co-led the firm’s flagship fund, and was Lead Trader at Wave Digital Assets, where he co-led the development of the first SEC-regulated Bitcoin fund.

Felman was Head of Trading for BlockTower Capital, where he grew the flagship fund portfolio from $40mm at time of joining to over $800mm.
He was Lead Trader at Wave Digital Assets, where he co-led the development of the first SEC-regulated Bitcoin fund, and was also responsible for Wave's derivatives strategy and trading execution.
He was the Founder of Ledger Capital, a quantitative crypto hedge fund, and Founder of CryptoAM, a publisher of weekly crypto newsletter.
He has been featured in Blockworks, The Block, Cointelegraph, CoinDesk, and more.
