Ben Forman is the Founder and Managing Partner of ParaFi Capital, a leading crypto-native investment and technology firm that focuses on decentralized finance across digital assets, venture equity and quantitative strategies. Under his leadership, ParaFi has become one of the largest investors, users, and governance participants within the DeFi ecosystem, spanning the full network lifecycle—from pre-launch to full decentralization. Forman is passionate about capital markets, behavioral economics and game theory, all of which drew him to the blockchain space. Prior to founding ParaFi in 2018, he spent 10 years at leading alternative investment managers, including KKR and TPG. He also worked in private equity at Littlejohn & Company and investment banking at Rothschild & Co.

EARLY CAREER
Forman launched ParaFi after a decade in traditional finance roles in investment banking, credit investing, and private equity.
He was Director in the Credit business at KKR, where he invested across a variety of industry sectors and strategies, including distressed special situations, private credit, and opportunistic and liquid credit.
He also served on KKR's Innovation and Disruption Council as the firm's domain expert on the blockchain ecosystem.
Before KKR, he served as a Vice President with TPG's former credit business, Sixth Street Partners, as one of the first investment professionals to join the platform.
