Ben Harburg
Ben Harburg is the Founder and Managing Partner of MSA Capital, a global investment firm with over $2 billion in assets under management. He also leads MSA Novo, the emerging markets arm and franchise of MSA Capital. Ben has significant investment and operations experience in Greater China, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa. Prior to launching MSA, he co-founded a China-focused energy investment and merchant trading firm which grew to be one of the largest in Asia. He started his career with the Boston Consulting Group, where he served many of the world’s largest financial institutions. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Ben sits on the Board of Directors of various private and public companies and foundations.
Ben launched MSA as a global venture capital firm that invests in leading early and growth tech-enabled businesses.
He serves as the CIO of Emerging Technology Markets and leads global growth for MSA's portfolio companies.
In 2018, MSA had one of the most successful years of any venture capital fund globally, with 4 IPOs and one major sale.
