Carrie Schwab-Pomerantz is a renowned advocate for financial literacy and a personal finance expert. She is the President of the Charles Schwab Corporation Foundation where she oversees the company's philanthropic strategy and resources. She established and now spearheads Schwab's highly respected Women's Investing Network, an initiative designed to educate and inspire women investors across America. Carrie speaks and writes extensively about personal finance and has devoted her career to helping people achieve financial security. With her father, company Founder, Chairman and CEO Charles Schwab, she co-authored "It Pays to Talk." She is also the author of "The Charles Schwab Guide to Finances After Fifty." Previously, Carrie has served two White House administrations on financial capability policy.

She is a force for addressing both business and critical social issues as a former Managing Director, Consumer Education and President, Charles Schwab Foundation.
Today, she is devoted to making financial education more accessible to the American public, encouraging men and women of all ages to take better charge of their finances.
In 2010, she was appointed by President Obama to the President’s Advisory Council on Financial Capability, where she chaired the Partnership Committee.
She led the Council’s efforts to strengthen coordination between the public and private sector.
She also advised the Council on Financial Literacy under President George W. Bush.
In 2017, she was appointed to the San Francisco Commission on the Status of Women, which fosters the advancement of women and girls through policies and programs throughout the city.
