Carter Malloy is the Founder and CEO of AcreTrader, a farmland investing platform that removes traditional barriers to farmland ownership. Malloy has a lifelong passion for investing, agriculture, and conservation. He leads AcreTrader in improving the land transaction process for all parties involved, including investors, farmers, agents, and buyers and sellers of land. Prior to founding AcreTrader, he was part of an equity investment firm and a Managing Director with Stephens Inc., a large private investment bank, where he was an equity research analyst focused on the Data & Analytics and Property Technology sectors.
At AcreTrader, Malloy has successfully raised over $60 million in Series B funding and grown from 20 employees to 120 employees across the company’s two business divisions.
He leads AcreTrader, the farmland investing platform, and Acres, a land research platform.
Through a proprietary online investment platform that uses some aspects of crowdfunding, AcreTrader offers transparency, security, and liquidity to people wanting to invest in farmland.

EARLY CAREER
Before starting AcreTrader, Malloy worked for the investment banking firm Stephens Inc. of Little Rock, where he spent time as a managing director of research.
Prior to Stephens, he owned businesses focused on internet marketing and sustainable fuel technologies.
He has previously held Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 licenses with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
