Darius Sit is Co-founder and Managing Partner of QCP Capital, a crypto-focused trading firm leading the charge in digital economy trading in Asia. Darius has created and implemented asset allocation models for sovereign wealth funds and also developed predictive models for Asian currencies, many of which operate under managed float regimes. In addition to institutional trading, he has a keen interest in financial modeling, and brings his capital markets experience to crypto asset trading. Prior to launching QCP, he was a former Macro Trader at Dymon Asia Capital where he spent years trading cross-asset derivatives with a focus on Asian FX/NDFs and model-based strategies before transitioning to Asia FX & Bonds book at BNP Paribas in New York, Sao Paulo and Singapore. Darius has a particular passion for crypto-economics and has given advice to a number of crypto projects, including Algorand and Terra, on trading structures and strategies.
EARLY CAREER AND EXPERTISE
Darius is Co-founder of Phillip Street Partners, an asset management firm which houses the ventures arm PSP Soteria Ventures.
He worked with Leng Hoe Lon, Simon Nursey and a few others to launch a global crypto industry initiative called Crypto OTC Roundtable Asia (CORA).
He started his career as a Macro Trader at Dymon Asia Capital, one of Asia's leading hedge funds, where he worked for 4 years.
An accomplished writer, he has published a number of thought leadership pieces on tokenization of assets.
He authored the chapter on crypto-assets in the textbook "Fintech: The New DNA of Financial Services."
