David Dredge
David Dredge is Chief Investment Officer and CEO of Convex Strategies, an alternative investment manager specializing in superior risk management solutions. David has over 30 years experience of managing risk across global markets. He also has extensive experience in Asian markets, developing a vision around the unique and asymmetric nature of risk in markets that were impeded from efficient risk pricing, generally as a result of government involvement. Previously, he managed the fund under both City Financial Investment Company and Fortress Investment Group while at Convex. He also built Asian and Global Emerging Markets businesses for RBS (ABN AMRO Group), Bankers Trust and Bank of America.

CAREER
Prior to launching Convex Strategies, David served as a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Artradis Fund Management in Singapore, where he was responsible for the fixed income aspects of their volatility strategy.
He also performed various trading roles for Bank of America in San Francisco, London, Singapore, Jakarta, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
Today, he is a long-standing Asian financial market participant who performed various trading roles during a critical period of market development and deregulation.
