David Hunt is the President and CEO of PGIM, the investment management business of Prudential and one of the top ten largest asset managers in the world. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the asset management businesses, including the firm's fixed income, real estate, public equity, private fixed income, and mutual fund units. Under his leadership, PGIM has grown substantially, doubling its assets under management to $1.4 trillion across both public and private markets. Before joining PGIM, Hunt was a senior partner at McKinsey & Company and co-leader of its North American Asset Management practice, serving as a key advisor to leading financial executives worldwide for 22 years. Hunt is set to retire after leading PGIM since 2011 and will be succeeded by Jacques Chappuis.
