Dylan Grice is a former economist, proprietary trader, strategist and family office investor. He is the Co-Founder of Calderwood Capital Research, an investment advisor and research provider specializing in alternative investments and portfolio construction. Prior to founding Calderwood, Grice was the Head of Liquid Investments at Calibrium AG, a prominent private investment office based in Zurich, where he helped build and establish one of the largest family offices in Europe. Grice started his career at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in 1997 in the Quant, Strategy and Economics group before moving to Société Générale’s highly regarded global strategy team.

He was the top ranked sell-side analyst for several years before leaving for Switzerland.

EARLY CAREER

  • Grice led the design, build, and management of the Liquids Investment Division at Calibrium AG, one of the largest family offices in Europe and based in Zurich

  • He was also responsible for the management of Calibrium's liquid portfolio, the research underpinning that portfolio, and the teams involved in the effort. 

  • As a Strategist at Société Général in London, he was ranked as the number one global analyst in the Extel Survey of Institutional Investor opinion in 2012 and 2013.

  • He started his career at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein as an International Economist and later Proprietary Trader.
