Ed Harrison is Senior Editor of Bloomberg’s Market Live where he writes about markets and policy, and author of The Everything Risk, a newsletter where he unpacks the web of risks for consumers and investors in a shifting markets landscape. Harrison is a former career diplomat, investment banker and technology executive with over 30 years of business experience, and a banking and finance specialist with a global approach to economics and politics. Prior to Bloomberg, he was Managing Editor at Real Vision and the author of the Credit Writedowns newsletter, a publication he founded to bring a well-informed view of finance, economics, markets, technology, and foreign policy. Previously, he was also Managing Director and Founder at the economic consultancy Global Macro Advisors, where he focused on global economics and corporate strategy.
