Ejaaz Ahamadeen is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of 26 Crypto Capital, a thesis-driven liquid crypto fund focused on the intersection of blockchain, DeFi, and emerging Web3 ecosystems. With over five years of experience as a crypto investor and product builder, he has been deeply involved in designing and scaling products across DeFi, NFTs, staking, and token economics. Before launching 26CC, Ahamadeen served as a Product Manager at Coinbase, where he played a key role in expanding the platform’s staking service into the second-largest Ethereum staking operation globally and developing DeFi-native yield products supporting multiple assets. Earlier in his career, he was a Core Token Architect at ConsenSys, where he designed and implemented economic models for token networks launched through the Token Foundry platform. COINBASE
Ejaaz built and scaled the Coinbase Staking service, the infrastructure allowing users to earn staking rewards on Coinbase including Ethereum 2.0.
He launched Coinbase NFT with infrastructure for asset minting and auctions and introduced DeFi-native yield services supporting multiple assets.
He also helped launch Coinbase's semi-custodial MPC wallet service, an on-chain wallet that allows users to easily and safely engage in decentralized applications.
CONSENSYS
Ejaaz led the development and launch of ConsenSys Activate, a platform for accessing decentralized networks.
He managed teams, coordinated with internal and external stakeholders, and supported business development, including a successful partnership with the SKALE Network.
He also designed and architected the economic incentive systems for token networks launched through the Token Foundry platform, resulting in over $30M raised and netting over $4M in revenue for ConsenSys.
He also served as a Global Enterprise Lead at Alpine, a division of ConsenSys.
Before joining ConsenSys, he started his career as a Technology Consultant at Deloitte.
