Glenn Reynolds is the Co-Founder and Chief Global Strategist of CreditSights, a leading provider of independent credit research to the global financial community. Reynolds is a respected voice in the credit markets with more than 40 years of experience in financial research, including a 20-year career on Wall Street. He has held various global research director roles, where he led an exceptional team of credit analysts across New York, Frankfurt, London, Sydney, New Delhi, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Singapore. He has also held executive leadership and senior management positions at a number of firms including Deutsche Bank, Lehman Brothers, Prudential Insurance and Deloitte. Reynolds has received Institutional Investor All America recognition across multiple categories including corporate strategies, autos, transportation, industrials and energy. In addition to CreditSights, he is the Founder and Editor of Macro4Micro, a financial markets newsletter.

Academic History

EARLY CAREER

  • Reynolds has more than 40 years of extensive experience in market research, including 20 years on the sell-side and buy-side to support his work in strategy and industry analysis.

  • He started his research career on the buy side at Prudential Capital Markets after being a CPA at Deloitte Haskins & Sells.

  • He served as Managing Director at Deutsche Bank, serving in roles including Director of Global Credit Research and Head of Global Credit Strategy.

  • He was Managing Director at Lehman Brothers and held positions including Director of Global Credit Research and Chief Credit Officer.

  • His input was sought by the House, Senate, and SEC on various reforms after the fallout from Enron, WorldCom, and later the Global Financial Crisis.  

  • He has testified before various Senate and House committees and the SEC on topics such as Enron, the auto industry restructuring and rating agency reform.
