Greg Jensen is Co-Chief Investment Officer of Bridgewater Associates, the world's largest hedge fund. As Co-CIO, he oversees Bridgewater’s investment strategies and research efforts with Co-CIOs Bob Prince and Ray Dalio. He is also integrally involved in overseeing Bridgewater’s investment engine and investment talent. Over the past 15 years, Jensen has designed training, developed new research methods, and invested in cutting-edge technology. He co-runs a team that plays in every market, including stocks, bonds, currencies, and commodities, and is a regular contributor to Bridgewater's Daily Observations newsletter, closely read by large institutional investors and policymakers. Jensen is also involved in charitable missions around effective altruism and the safe development and use of AI.
Jensen has been a key author of the Daily Observations since joining the Firm in 1996.
He is a Director on Bridgewater’s Operating Board of Directors and serves as the investment engine and investment talent at the firm.
He is dedicated to building a community of market thinkers and investment managers who can develop, systemize, and compound market understanding better than anyone else in the world.
Jensen oversees the systemization of Bridgewater’s research into trading strategies and manages the development of proprietary investment management models.
He also directs the design and implementation of client investment strategies and publishes timely market understanding to clients and global policy makers.
From 2010 to 2016, he served as Bridgewater's Co-CEO.
