Hilda Ochoa-Brillembourg is the Founder and Chairman Emeritus of Strategic Investment Group, an independent investment management firm with over $25 billion in assets under management. Hilda is an international business innovator, author, and philanthropist with more than three decades of experience as an asset manager, entrepreneur, and World Bank executive. Prior to founding SIG, she served as Chief Investment Officer of World Bank's Pension Investment Division and Co-Founder of Emerging Markets Management. Hilda has also served in multiple public company and non-profit boards, and has published articles in various financial journals, newspapers, and magazines. She is the Author of Delivering Alpha.

EARLY CAREER
Hilda was a longtime member of the World Economic Forum, and served on the boards of Asset Management Company, S&P Global, General Mills, US Airways, Custodial Trust Company, Harvard Management Company and Vassar College.
She also served as a member of the Fulbright Association, the Washington National Opera and the National Symphony Orchestra. She was a former vice chairman of the Group of Fifty (G-50), a group of leading Latin American CEOs, sponsored by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and member of the World Economic Forum.
She served as asset and liability advisor to the World Bank, the Venezuelan government, Grupo Electricidad de Caracas, and others.
She has also served as an independent consultant in the field of economics and finance, a Lecturer at the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello and IESA in Venezuela, and as Treasurer of the C.A. Luz Electrica de Venezuela in Caracas.
