Jeff Aronson
Jeff Aronson is the Co-Founder and Managing Principal of Centerbridge Partners. In this role, he oversees the firm’s investment activities. He began his career as a securities attorney before becoming an active investor. For over 30 years, Aronson has been deeply involved in alternative investments and many U.S. and overseas restructurings. He specializes in credit, distressed strategies and special situations, private equity, and real estate.

- Aronson began his career as a securities attorney with the law firm of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP.
- At Partner at Angelo, Gordon & Co., he led that firm’s distressed securities and leveraged loan efforts.
- He is the former Chair and a current member of the Board of Trustees of Johns Hopkins University.
- He also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Johns Hopkins Medicine and New York University School of Law.
