Jeremy Deems
Jeremy Deems is the Co-Founder, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer of Green Alpha Advisors. He is responsible for overseeing the firm's financial well-being. He also ensures operations at Green Alpha are in compliance with all regulatory rules and best practices. In addition, Deems serves as a Co-Portfolio Manager on all Green Alpha portfolios. He introduced Next Economy investing in 2007 to address the immense investment opportunity presented by the transition to a decarbonized economy.

- Deems started his career within the Investment Consulting Services Group of Morgan Stanley.
- While at Forward Management, he was responsible for all areas related to finance, operations, and human resources.
- While at ReFlow Management, he was responsible for all financial matters for more than 15 related business entities and affiliates with over 50 employees.
- His tenure at Forward and ReFlow provided invaluable experience related to new venture creation and the opportunities and challenges associated with start-up ventures in the investment industry.
- He brought his impact investing expertise to Boulder in 2007 when he co-founded Green Alpha Advisors.
- He was a licensed Certified Public Accountant from 2001 to 2016.
