John A. Bollinger, CFA, CMT, is an American author, financial analyst, contributor of technical analysis, and the founder of Bollinger Bands and Bollinger Capital Management. He is also the founding president of Market Analysts of Southern California. He is the first financial analyst to gain CFA and CMT designations.
