Kristen Capuano is a Managing Director and Head of Marketing and Product Strategy of VanEck, one of the first US asset managers to offer investors access to international markets. Kristen oversees all marketing communications, including marketing, active and ETF product management, institutional marketing and RFP and client reporting. Her responsibilities also extend to marketing strategy and business planning across VanEck’s distribution channels. Kristen has more than 15 years of marketing and product management experience within the financial services industry. Prior to joining VanEck, she held several marketing and product-related positions at ING Investment Management. In recognition of her achievements, Kristen received a Top Women in Asset Management Award in 2019.
Under her leadership, Kristen has established a reporting and analytics group outside of the marketing department that handles all of the firm’s performance reporting.
She joined VanEck in 2007 as Marketing Director, and served as Vice President and Head of Active Product before working on her current role.
In 2018, Kristen assumed the role of Managing Director and Head of Marketing and Product Strategy for the firm.
She received an MBA from Quinnipiac University and earned a BS from the University of Connecticut.
She holds FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 designations.
