Lori Van Dusen is the Founder and CEO of LVW Advisors, an independent financial advisory firm. Since founding the women-led firm in 2011, she has been a leader in delivering strategic, data-driven financial guidance to nonprofits, families, and individuals nationwide. Lori is a renowned financial advisor and a champion of client-focused strategies for more than 30 years. Throughout her career, she has received many industry accolades from several prominent industry publications, including Barron’s, Forbes and the Financial Times. She is also passionate about numerous philanthropic causes, serving on several boards focused on urban education, health and wellness, and the fine arts.

EARLY CAREER
Lori began her investment advisory career in 1987 with Shearson Lehman Brothers, which was later acquired by Citigroup Smith Barney.
She became Managing Director at Smith Barney, where she consistently ranked in the top one percent of firm producers in terms of assets under management and revenue.
She was one of the founders of the Association of Professional Investment Consultants (APIC) and Citigroup Institutional Consulting.
