Marc Rubinstein is a Managing Partner at Fordington Advisors, a research, consulting and investment advisory firm that offers bespoke investment advice to corporates and investors. He is also the author of Net Interest, a weekly newsletter of insight and analysis from the world of finance. Marc is an investment professional with over 25 years experience of researching and investing in financial services companies. Prior to Fordington, he was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Lansdowne Partners, one of Europe’s largest hedge fund firms, where he advised on management of award-winning US$4bn global long/short financials equity fund. Marc also worked on the sell-side working for Barclays Investment Bank (BZW), Schroders and Credit Suisse, where he was Head of the European banks research team.

Marc is a retired partner of US$18bn hedge fund firm, Lansdowne partners, where he was a former senior analyst and portfolio manager.
He was a Managing Director and Head of European banks equity research team for Credit Suisse.
He was Director and Equity Research Analyst covering the European banks sector for both Schroders and BZW.
In addition to consulting with corporates and investment firms, Marc is an active value investor and early-stage investor across consumer/fintech sectors.
His fintech investments include Revolut, iwoca, moo.la, Arthur Online, Sugar Cap, Level Financial Technology, NYDIG, Fronted, Carmoola, Rail Technologies, Echofi, Argus, and Meow.
