Mark Gordon is the Chief Investment Officer of the Ascent Oil Fund. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the fund's portfolio management and trading, investment research, and investor relations. Prior to this, he served as a senior analyst at Paulson & Co, where he was responsible for energy investments, mostly pre-arbitrage, arbitrage, or special situations. Gordon also served as a Portfolio Manager at Soros Fund Management, where he focused on global energy and natural resources investments, both public and private.
