Mark Seger is Vice Chairman and Co-Founder of Ultimus Fund Solutions, a leading provider of full-service tech-enhanced fund administration, accounting, middle office, and investor solutions. He is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the firm and for maintaining the high-quality standards delivered to clients. Seger has more than 30 years of industry experience working directly with clients and boards across various sectors. Prior to co-founding Ultimus in 1999, he was Chief Accounting Officer and Chief Operating Officer of another mutual fund service provider and registered transfer agent. He was also a Senior Accountant in the Audit Division of Arthur Andersen’s Cincinnati office, working primarily on financial services industry engagements, including two mutual fund complexes.

The fund blends high tech and high touch in unique and customized fund administration and middle office solutions for a diverse and growing universe of more than 450 clients.
They support nearly every pooled investment structure, including asset managers, private fund managers, institutional investors, investment consultants, registered investment advisers, and state governments.
EARLY CAREER
As former Managing Director and President of Ultimus, he was responsible for overseeing the delivery of all services to Ultimus clients.
During his 12 years at Countrywide Fund Services, he held various positions of increasing responsibilities including Mutual Fund Controller, Treasurer, Chief Operations Officer, and Chief Accounting Officer.
He was previously a Board Member of the Finance Committee for the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati.
