Meltem Demirors is a veteran cryptocurrency investor, advisor, and advocate. Meltem is the Founder and General Partner at Crucible Capital, an early-stage fund investing in the foundations of our digital future. She leverages her vast network – ranging from major institutions to builders at the fringe – to find and fund unique opportunities for Crucible. Prior to Crucible, she served as the Chief Strategy Officer at CoinShares, Europe's largest and longest standing digital asset investment firm. She oversaw CoinShares' corporate strategy and managed its proprietary investment portfolio. Meltem started her crypto career on the founding team at Digital Currency Group, where she managed a portfolio of 110 companies across 30 countries and advised some of the world’s largest financial institutions and corporations. Before joining the crypto industry in 2015, she began her career trading and working in the oil and gas industry in trading, corporate treasury, and M&A roles. She has also lectured at MIT and Oxford and is an active angel investor in over 100 startups.

Over the last decade, Meltem has become a trusted, prescient, and influential investor in crypto.
Since joining the crypto industry in 2015, Meltem has been actively building investment firms; supporting and advising visionary founders at the earliest stages; and leveraging her experience and network to accelerate the growth of the digital asset industry.
She helped build and grow Digital Currency Group, raising capital from the world’s largest corporations and managing a portfolio of 120 companies and 4 subsidiaries.
She advocates for a number of initiatives focused on market infrastructure and portfolio management.
As Chief Strategy Officer, she oversaw strategy and focused on developing private funds and investment vehicles to provide institutional investors with thematic, risk-managed exposure to the emerging crypto asset ecosystem.
She built asset management products to provide institutional investors with exposure to crypto assets and blockchain companies.
