Peter Doyle
Peter Doyle is a Managing Director and Co-founder of Horizon Kinetics, an independent investment adviser that adheres to a long-term, contrarian, fundamental value investment philosophy. Peter is a senior member of the research team, and a member of the Investment Committee and the Board. He is responsible for oversight of the firm's marketing and sales activities and is the Vice President of FRMO Corp. Additionally, Peter serves as President for Kinetics Mutual Funds, a series of U.S. open-end investment companies. He is also a Co-Portfolio Manager for several registered investment companies, private funds, and institutional separate accounts. Prior to Horizon Kinetics, Peter was a Portfolio Manager with Bankers Trust’s Private Banking Division from 1985 to 1994.

In 1996, Peter co-founded Kinetics Asset Management, and in 2000, he co-founded Kinetics Advisers, both of which are registered investment advisers.
Previously, he was a Senior Investment Officer at Bankers Trust, where he also served on the Finance, Utility, and REIT Research sub-group teams.
He received a Bachelor’s Degree from St. John’s University and an MBA from Fordham University.
