Pranav Kanade
Pranav Kanade is a Portfolio Manager for the Digital Assets Alpha Fund of VanEck, a global investment manager known as one of the first U.S. asset managers to offer investors access to international markets. Kanade is a seasoned finance professional with over 10 years of industry experience. Prior to joining VanEck, he served as a Credit Portfolio Manager at Millennium Management, where he worked closely with a team of six investment professionals. During his time at Millennium, he gained extensive experience in portfolio construction and risk management, as well as macro and global central bank policy and cross-asset correlations. He was also the founding member and Head of Research for the Liquid Credit investing business at Angelo Gordon, where he was exposed to fundraising and building a new investing business from scratch.

EARLY CAREER
Before catching the crypto bug, Kanade accumulated significant experience in traditional finance.
He was a Managing Director and Research Analyst at Hutchin Hill Capital, a hedge fund manager.
At Hutchin Chill, he was responsible for investing in distressed technology and energy companies.
He also served as a Research Analyst at UBS, where he gained exposure to distressed credit investing and trading analysis
He holds a BS in Finance and Accounting with a specialization in Entertainment, Media, and Technology from New York University.
