Richard Ross is Senior Managing Director and Head of Technical Analysis at Evercore ISI. Working as part of the macro research team, he publishes technical research and strategy reports which cover global stocks, commodities, currencies, and interest rates. - Ross began his financial career in the Private Client Division of Alex, Brown & Sons.
- He held positions as a NASDAQ Market Maker and Proprietary Equity Trader, making a continuous two-sided Market in over 40 NASDAQ stocks including: Amazon.com, Yahoo and Apple.
- At R Squared Capital Management, he utilized fundamental, technical and macroeconomic analysis to generate alpha-driven trading strategies across asset equities, commodities, currencies, and rates.
- At JW Asset Management, he pursued directional and momentum-driven equity trading strategies.
- At Tocqueville Securities, he performed a technical analysis of major indexes, equities, and commodities and published original research and market commentary.
