Prior to joining Galaxy, he was the COO of Global Foreign Exchange and Emerging Markets Trading at Goldman Sachs. Richard also worked as an Attorney in Cleary Gottlieb’s financial products and markets group, and served as an Adjunct Professor at New York Law School.

He served as an Adjunct Professor at New York Law School, where he taught a course on Derivatives and Systematic Risk Mitigation.
He also has experience in Legal Counsel to futures, options and OTC clearing business.
