Rob Kapito is the Co-Founder and President of BlackRock, the world’s largest asset management firm with trillions in assets under management. A central figure in the global investment industry, Kapito has played a pivotal role in shaping BlackRock into a dominant force in investment management, risk analysis, and financial technology. He serves on BlackRock’s Global Executive Committee and is Chairman of the Global Operating Committee, where he oversees the firm’s key operating units, including investment strategies, client businesses, technology & operations, and risk & quantitative analysis. Recognized as a leading authority in portfolio management and asset allocation, Kapito is a frequent speaker on investment best practices and global financial markets. Prior to co-founding BlackRock in 1988, he was Vice President of the Mortgage Products Group at First Boston, where he gained deep expertise in fixed-income securities and structured finance.
