Rob Viglione is the Co-Founder and CEO of Horizen, a blockchain platform that aims to enable an application-rich and inclusive ecosystem through its leading-edge sidechain solutions. An early visionary in the Web3 space, he co-founded Horizen Labs to fulfill the vision of using blockchain to build a more secure and equitable world. Rob is formerly a trained physicist, mathematician, and military officer. His experience working on satellite radar, space launch vehicles, and combat support intelligence informed much of his understanding of how blockchain technology could change the trajectory of global societies. In addition to leading the Horizen team, Rob is a passionate blockchain tech speaker and educator. He is the Co-Founder and Team Lead of Zen Blockchain Foundation.

EARLY CAREER
He was an Operations Research Analyst at Lanmark Technology, wher ehe provided large data set mining and statistical analysis for a variety of operational assessments.
He served as an Advanced Analyst at Tecolote Researh, responsible for cost analysis and economic studies.
Most recently, he was a Project Manager at the United States Air Force, where he managed three independent engineering programs with a combined $450K budget and led and participated in special projects that had a significant impact to the prime contracts of a $20 billion space intelligence program.
