Roger Wacker is Managing Director, Senior Portfolio Manager, and Private Wealth Advisor at UBS Private Wealth Management. With over 45 years of wealth management experience working across the globe, he draws upon his extensive experience and knowledge to offer customized wealth management advice and personalized service to his ultra-high net worth clients and their families and foundations. In 2015, Roger rejoined UBS after serving as a Managing Director and Senior Relationship Manager in the Private Banking North America business of Credit Suisse. Roger has built a successful career in finance and currently serves on the boards of several prominent organizations. Prior to joining the wealth management industry, he was a former Captain in the Swiss Army.
During his previous tenure at UBS, he was the Chief Investment Officer and head of the UBS Middle Eastern Group, where he managed assets in excess of CHF $11B.
He began his career at UBS Zurich headquarters in 1976. He moved to Los Angeles in 1989, where managed the West Coast Region for nearly a decade.
He was key to UBS' acquisition of Julius Baer. He served as Vice Chairman of UBS Private Bank.
