He is an angel investor and has invested in more than 30 firms including SpaceX, Robinhood, LendingClub, Change.org, and Off-Grid Electric.

  • He is also founder of the Hive Ventures which invests in socially responsible high-growth businesses in the USA, Africa, and Latin America.

  • Ryan guided Tatango through 10x revenue growth, making the company a leader in opt-in political SMS messaging.

  • Under his leadership, iContact made the INC 500 list three times as one of the fastest growing companies in the United States.

  • He served as a National Co-Chairperson for Tech for Obama during the 2012 Presidential Election along with Reid Hoffman and Marc Benioff.

  • He advised the United Nations Foundation on technology and marketing sectors.
