Sebastien Badault is Vice President of Enterprise Revenue at Ledger, a world leader in critical digital asset security and utility. In his role, he leads the global platform in enabling businesses and brands around the world to take full advantage of the potential of crypto-assets in a secure environment. Badault is a seasoned operator with over 20 years of extensive experience at the intersection of technology, security and online worlds. He was the former Managing Director for France, Belgium and Luxembourg at Alibaba, building the company’s Luxury Pavilion, which has become China’s largest online luxury platform. Prior to joining Alibaba, he was one of the first employees for both Google France and Amazon France, driving sales and marketing teams to build local market share and enhance the online ecosystem for both organizations. For more than 15 years, this visionary man has led the companies that drive our digital world, between GAFAM and BATX.

ALIBABA

  • Under his leadership, Alibaba expanded its influence on the French market

  • He built relationships with local businesses and helped them leverage Alibaba's platform and technologies to reach a global audience.

  • He played a role in facilitating partnerships and collaborations between SMEs and Alibaba's e-commerce and digital services platform.


GOOGLE

  • He spent more than 10 years at Google, where he ran the company’s French operations. 

  • He was a founding member of the Global Client and Agency Solutions Organization. 

  • He was in charge of the development of Google's strategic customers in Southern Europe, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.


AMAZON

  • With Amazon, he served as European Business Development Manager, where he led the group’s customer and partner acquisition strategy across the UK, Germany and France.

  • He negotiated with all major internet players and co-branding opportunities and direct marketing.

  • He was also in charge of developing the Amazon brand in France, as well as customer acquisition and retention activity.
