Seth Hertlein
Seth Hertlein is Vice President and Global Head of Policy at Ledger, a world leader in critical digital asset security and utility. He leads Ledger's growing policy team responsible for promoting economic freedom across the platform's global footprint, with a particular focus on policy development in Europe. Hertlein has extensive experience in blockchain policy, having previously served as the first Head of Policy & Government Relations for the Stellar Development Foundation, where he oversaw all aspects of the foundation’s engagement in digital asset policy, legislation, and regulation globally. Prior to SDF, he was a founding member of the Washington office of FS Investments, a leading alternative investment manager. Before that, he was a securities regulator focused on adapting regulatory policy toward the burgeoning fintech industry. Today, Hertlein also serves on the Board of Directors of the Blockchain Association, the leading nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting a pro-innovation policy environment for the digital asset economy.
