Stephanie Ferris is the CEO and President of FIS, the global leader in financial technology. She led the integration of Worldpay into FIS, surpassing both revenue and cost synergy commitments. She has been integral to FIS’ global growth which currently supports more than 14,000 clients in over 100 countries. Ferris is a seasoned leader within the payments and financial technology space. Prior to FIS, she served as Chief Financial Officer of the payments processing division of Fifth Third Bancorp, which was later spun out to become Vantiv and then Worldpay. She also held multiple other progressive financial leadership roles at Fifth Third. She began her career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

  • Ferris assumed the role of FIS's CEO and President in 2022, becoming the first woman to lead the company since its inception.

  • She played a key role in the launch of the Atelio™ by FIS fintech platform, providing building blocks for financial institutions, businesses and software developers.

  • She served as FIS's Chief Operating Officer and Chief Administrative Officer, responsible for global strategy, technology transformation and the global integration of FIS and Worldpay.

  • She also led a global team responsible for the firm's enterprise strategy, finance, mergers & acquisitions, legal, marketing, and compliance functions.
