Stephanie Ferris is the Chief Executive Officer and President of FIS, a global leader in financial technology and payments solutions. As CEO, she has played a central role in advancing FIS’ strategic growth and strengthening its position in the fintech industry. Ferris led the integration of Worldpay into FIS, successfully surpassing both revenue and cost synergy commitments. Under her leadership, FIS has continued to expand its global footprint, supporting more than 14,000 clients across over 100 countries. A seasoned executive in the payments and financial technology sector, Ferris previously served as Chief Financial Officer of the payments processing division of Fifth Third Bancorp. During her tenure at Fifth Third, she held multiple progressive financial leadership roles, contributing to the growth and transformation of its payments business. Ferris began her career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers, building the financial and operational expertise that would later support her leadership in global fintech and payments.

Stephanie Ferris assumed the role of CEO and President of FIS in 2022, becoming the first woman to lead the company since its inception.
As chief executive, she has focused on strengthening FIS’ position as a global financial technology leader and advancing innovation across banking and payments.
She played a key role in the launch of Atelio™ by FIS, a fintech platform designed to provide modular technology building blocks for financial institutions, businesses, and software developers.
The platform supports digital transformation and embedded finance capabilities across the financial services ecosystem.
Prior to becoming CEO, Ferris served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of FIS. In those roles, she was responsible for global strategy, technology transformation, and overseeing the global integration of FIS and Worldpay.
She also led a global team responsible for enterprise strategy, finance, mergers and acquisitions, legal, marketing, and compliance functions.
