He played a pivotal role in the firm’s early investment in the Sui ecosystem and serves as Chief Investment Officer of Mill City Ventures, guiding its strategic shift toward a SUI treasury strategy and integration of blockchain and AI technologies.
He manages a diverse portfolio of private investments, including Mysten Labs, Animoca Brands, Plasma, Ton, and funds such as Robot Ventures, Bitkraft, Parafi, Kingsway, and Multicoin Capital.
EARLY CAREER
Mackintosh began his entrepreneurial journey at age 22, founding his first company while at University College London.
Before Karatage, he led the growth of Re:infer, an award-winning AI company recognized as a global leader in natural language processing.
He also served as a tech advisor at Trackmatic and RESOLVE, a specialist finance firm, and gained experience investing in public and private markets with a focus on SaaS and machine learning.
