Tarek Mansour is the Founder and CEO of Kalshi, the first federally regulated exchange dedicated to trading on future events. The platform holds the distinction as the first modern market in which US citizens are legally allowed to place wagers. Under his leadership, Kalshi became the original platform in the stand alone prediction marketplace industry, allowing users to trade on the outcomes of various events, including political elections. Prior to starting Kalshi with fellow MIT graduate Luana Lopes Lara, he was a Trader for Citadel, Software Engineer at Palantir Technologies, and interned at Goldman Sachs. In addition to being an entrepreneur, Tarek has also done work as a researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is a quantitative trader for various institutions.
